Update ... June 7th @ 4:30pm

Tara has made some progress today. Her fever has come down to 100.8 degrees. We are still awaiting the results of the spinal fluid test, but fluid color was clear and that's a point in the plus column. The doctors and nurses are keeping her sedated and on the ventilator until more testing can be done. I will keep the updates coming. Please keep Tara and her family in your prayers.

Bad Night!

Yesterday evening Tara came down with a fever and began to have trouble breathing. Things quickly escalated and she was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph's hospital. She suffered a couple seizures and has been placed on a ventilator. A CT scan done today showed the cancer has not metastasized to the brain and they are now working on analyzing her cerebral spinal fluid to determine if some type of infection is to blame. Currently she's in ICU at St. Joe's. I will update this blog to try and keep everyone informed. PLEASE PRAY FOR TARA!
